"The elephant parade"
I was on a hunt to find as many elephants as I could and to photograph them, capturing the essence of their location.
Check them out for yourself:
Elephant Parade is a conservation campaign that shines a multi-coloured spotlight on the urgent crisis faced by the endangered Asian elephant. Brought to you by www.elephantfamily.org, the event sees over 250 brightly painted life-size elephants located over central London this summer.

Eu não costumo colocar essa borda preta, só coloquei porque eu queria cobrir certas coisas sem precisar cortar a foto. Mas achei que ficou legal.

Children of Class 1 had an activity in which they dressed up as Community Helpers belonging to different professions. They enacted their roles with realistic props alongwith appropriate words.
This activity will help to instill in them respect for all professions and learn to value them better.

A motorbike slipped in this bend. The bus driver stopped and helped to move the bike to the pavement. Looks like the biker didn't suffer any injuries.
It was very wet...

URBAN ART FESTIVAL
Website: www.urban-art-festival.com
The Urban Art Festival Amsterdam presents and exhibits artwork by contemporary urban artists, including paintings on canvas, sculptures, photography, designer toys, video installations and video mapping.
Each night, an electronic music party alongside live and synchronised video performances will complement the exhibition.
The last day will host an artistic trade-fair called “underground market” where local artist labels, collectives and individuals will sell and promote their own art pieces such as clothes, jewellery, toys, music, publications and handcrafts.
The artist line-up guarantees an exciting and diverse exhibition. Many of our artists will paint three murals on Saturday @ OT301.

As busy as a bee hive. That was the scene in the little school house on Solon Pond on October 18,2012 as American Heritage Girls NYTroop3130 came to perform an act of community service. The troop led by Michelle Whitbeck came all the way from Greene NY.
I love each block on its own, but together it's all a bit cacophonous -- help!
I considered eliminating one or more of the remaining solids (the pale green is already gone, as shown in another shot)...but now I'm wondering if maybe *more* of the Kona lagoon (that deep teal green) would actually help things.
I definitely want more of the large Loulouthi prints with the off-white and pale blue backgrounds: those big hexies are helping to lighten things up a bit. And I am planning to make more stars and tumbling block trios and all sorts of interesting things...but I really need to settle on a plan colourwise FIRST.
At some deep level I *know* I can make this work -- I almost always feel filled with doubt at some point in the process, and I work through it...but it would be *lovely* to have some input :) Please! Any thoughts...?
It's about 2 feet high at the doorway and deeper as you move outward. This is the service door of our garage.
Hey all,
As you can see above I have run into a problem with my new Monster High (Classroom Series) Mad Science Lagoona Blue,
As I bought her via Bratz Heaven, and the fact that I live in Australia and we don't have the Classroom Series yet, I can't return her and this is where I need your help.
So what happened was: as I was re-dressing her I removed her arm as per the instructions, and when I went to put it back in to the upper-arm the joint broke and beccame stuck in the upper arm,
So I was wondering if anyone would have a spare Lagoona Blue body that they would be willing to give me?
Your help is truly valued!!!
Thanks
TomDav

P.S.
Sorry for all the hair, I was trying to be modest,

Please mark your calendars for our cleanup of the Historic Bread and Cheese Creek on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Rain or Shine, we clean up the section of Historic Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Road, Dundalk, MD 21222. This event will be run in conjunction with the Ocean Conservancies annual International Coastal Cleanup and American River’s Nation River Cleanup as well as Day to Serve and National Public Lands Day! We have also attached an event flyer for your use.
We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them
Volunteers are also needed to arrive early and stay late for setup and break down. Photographers and Videographers also needed!
