This is a photograph from the 2nd annual running of the Kilcock Ladies GAA club "Santa Dash" 5KM Road Race and fun run which was held in Kilcock, Co. Kildare, Ireland on Sunday 15th December 2013 at 13:00. This is one of the final road races in this part of Leinster before Christmas. The race welcomes runners, joggers, walkers, and families. Every entrant is given a free Santa hat to wear in the race to add to the festive atmosphere. The race starts beside the Royal Canal/Railway at the end of Connaught Street. The route then takes in the wellknown local walking route around Laragh (Sli Na Slainte). This route is familiar to many runners as a reverse of the Kilcock AC 5KM held annually every summer. The race was organised to help raise funds for the many ladies teams that the girls from Branganstown continue to field year after year. The Kilcock Ladies are a vital part of the local community and provide football for all age groups in the town. Last year, the first year of this race, 2012 was a very special year for the Ladies section of Kilcock GAA club as they celebrated the 20th year since their foundation back in 1992.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. I'm trying to grow seeds again. I didn't have much luck last year. I bought these tupperwares (on left) that had clear lids a divider in the center and a vent. I'm also trying the cubes. I've never seen this done before. I figured if it works I can stack them and they'll get lots of light this way. I'm using chopped long fiber sphagnum moss. Will this work? Should I try something else? I've seen some set ups in 10 gallon aquariums with fans. I'm open to suggestions. I really want to sprout seeds and have them survive. Is peat and sand a better medium? And yes I do have small trouble with fungus.

So, um, help! I don't think I'm "satisfied". I've redone the darts a million times and I can only seam to get anything ressembling normal when I do two at the side like this. Is that weird? I'm afraid to just go ahead and make the pattern (yeah, I've never sewn darts, but let's cross that bridge later), because I hate to waste time and fabric if this is just complete, ridiculously wrong.
Please give it to me straight. I can take it! What the heck and I doing wrong?
And, really, is it smart to make this dress on my body shape in home decorator's weight fabric? I thought the home decor would be fine because it's kind of like quilting cotton + lining, with the lining already built in. But I'm worried that if I can't make the darts look halfway decent in the muslin that problems could be amplified in the heavier weight home decor? I don't know.
If I look like I'm ready to give up in that picture, it's because I am.
Premier John Horgan helped kick off the first Nowruz Celebration ever held at the BC Legislature today. Nowruz means “New Day”, and is traditionally celebrated March 21, on the vernal equinox.
For this project we were allocated a group of people to research and analyse in order to identify a problem and come up with a suitable solution to help them with their everyday lives. After finding out information about our group a scientific approach to their problems was taken. They were diagnosed with a condition called kleptomania (addiction to shop-lifting) and it was concluded that in order to cure them their serotonin levels must be raised. We designed and produced a tape for each person in the group. Each tape contained a different way of raising serotonin levels - for example, a workout tape, a meditation tape, etc.
During the presentation the patients were informed of their diagnosis and presented with their appropriate prescriptions in order to cure their kleptomania. They were advised to listen to the tapes once a day to cure their condition.
