A very large valve made by Chapman Valve. This might have been used in ConEd's underground steam system.

The Marafa Depression, also known as Hell’s Kitchen, is a sandstone canyon in Marafa, outside of Malindi, Kenya. It is locally known as Nyari, “the place broken by itself.” It was once a great sandstone ridge that was eroded away by water and wind into a series of jagged gorges. The layer-cake colors of the sandstone reveal whites, pinks, oranges, and deep crimsons, making the gorge particularly striking at sundown.
I like this figure, but for some reason after 7 attempts I still could not keep the paint on her legs clean. C&C is appreciated Kingpin next.
Hell's Kitchen "Market Diner". The diner was a favorite haunt of local bartenders and bar patrons looking for a meal after work when the bars closed at 4am...sometimes later. Albeit illegal it to remain open after 4am, the law was often not enforced by the local police who frequented the bars.
"Westies" ate here too. If you don't know what a "Westie" is, you're not a Native NY'er.
Those were the days when cops, priests and gangsters all sat and drank at the same bar.
You donkey! F@#k me! This turkey is raw! You're going to kill somebody! I've had it! Shut it down! Piss off!! Get out!!
This was man walking ahead of me collecting cans for recycling.
Further up the avenue, I found him peacefully resting, sleeping next to his bag of cans.
I wished him a dream as beautiful as the bokeh of lights.
