My tribute to Gordon Ramsay and Hells Kitchen

this is from over a year ago at hell's kitchen.

the gypsies, the centre cannot hold, theme for murder, and schoolyard heroes played.

it was a good show, but it was also when my built-in flash got kicked and broken. i was unhappy to say the least.

i just went back and edited all these pictures again and i love the way they turned out. this one was sort of an accident because i had to turn the shutter speed down so much, having no flash.

some of the lights worked in my favor and i got lucky so, yay

:)

Harshly lit view of the Westin Times Square looking north up 8th Avenue. I was curious about the Carter Hotel seen at the bottom of the image and found it has the reputation as one of the dirtiest hotels in New York.

The Marafa Depression, also known as Hell’s Kitchen, is a sandstone canyon in Marafa, outside of Malindi, Kenya. It is locally known as Nyari, “the place broken by itself.” It was once a great sandstone ridge that was eroded away by water and wind into a series of jagged gorges. The layer-cake colors of the sandstone reveal whites, pinks, oranges, and deep crimsons, making the gorge particularly striking at sundown.

The best spot for sunset as the 3 colours of sand the canion is made of come alive. And because its consist of sand the Hell's Kitchen is always a little different after the heavy rain. East Kenya.
