After the brutal holiday season, Kea & I head back home for some well deservered r & r.
Here's Kea's detailed version of the shoot.
The climate change that the planet is suffering is warning us all that if something is not done now, there will come a time that will have no remedy, once again the scientific community has made it clear this week that we are not doing enough to limit global warming, climate change is not fiction or exaggeration, we must act now or never! Unless all governments change their energy policies, the planet will be uninhabitable, the UN chief warns, accusing some government and business leaders of lying about their commitments to reduce their use of fossil fuels and switch to clean energy. Although it is a critical situation and with a lot of pessimism, according to some studies, there are still reasons not to lose hope to try to remedy this serious problem, which affects and will affect many generations... let's act now! Let's tell those who rule that we want a sustainable world!
I encourage you all to contribute to this cause for the good of all of us.
As always, there will be many different opinions and thoughts on this, and everyone is respectable, but I think we can all agree that the earth is our home... and the home must be taken care of, right? ... because otherwise this will be .... Hell on earth!

Without doubt, one of the best sunrise shots I have EVER taken.
This morning, Christmas Eve, 20 mins before sunrise.
This is a single, 5 minute exposure, using my NiSi big stopper, and using the iso 6400 calculation method.
Very little done to this in photoshop apart from removing a few dust and hotspots.

Yesterday he and his buddy C climbed into closet pulled out a massage kit gift set and opened it all up and spilled half a bottle of massage oil and were playing cars with all the massage attachments...

Smoke on the horizon from the California wildfires in early September.
That's one hell of a climb to get to this view and i did it twice! yeah! :) Once in the harsh afternoon & another for this sunset shot of coz! This place is too beautiful to give it a miss for an evening take and thank god i didn't change my mind that evening esp when i knew how painful the journey ahead is going to be before i can get to this view. Knowing that my legs will kinda turn jelly by the time i m up there doesn't help too! :D Oh well, for my hardwork, you guys & gals gotta enjoy this! U all better fave fave fave fave fave lol! Have a good day & good evening to myself!

- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (blues) to slightly darken the sky
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'level' to enhance the vegetations
- Used 'unsharp mask' (as always) on the background layer
