Hellās Union: Motorcycle Club Cuts as American Folk Art

Collected by famed artist and rider Jeff Decker, Hellās Union: Motorcycle Club Cuts as
American Folk Art is an exhibition that features defunct motorcycle club cuts, or vests,
and their assorted, colorful club colors, or patches, that represent a unique form of
American folk art embodying the freedom and nonconformity of bikers. Jeff Decker is a
historian and artist famed for his bronze sculptures of vintage motorcycles. He grew up
surrounded by the car culture of southern California in the 60s.

A glass of Andechser Hell from Klosterbrauerei Andechs on draft at Andechser am Dom in Munich.
Andechser Hell is a 4.8% abv helles lager brewed with local Bavarian malts and Hallertau hops. It poured a clear, golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma sported a mild caramel sweetness and hints of floral hops. It had a light mouthfeel with a soft carbonation. The flavor had a mild fruity sweetness, with some good malt notes, not much else really. A bit simple, even for a helles, but with a nice malt profile.

In the year 2034, all hell was broken loose when Russia launched their nukes. So did the US. And China. Basically everyone launched everything they had once they gained a sense of insecurity, and the world was decimated to a large wasteland, with virtually no survivors and only one major force still standing, which was only known as "the District".
Basically, everyone was fucked.
Here, are two survivors, only a few months after the bombs were dropped, come across a dead District soldier, and a nearby grave.

Lightning storms a couple nights prior to our hike had set of many fires in the region which made for some pretty hazy conditions for much of our hike- like this view of Hells Canyon from Heavens Gate Lookout. The lookout provides views of Idaho, Montana, Washington, and Oregon.

PEANUTS FROM HELL! (big booming deep voice)
are the farm animals hell peanuts?
maybe this is the hell version of the cartoon peanuts in which snoopy is a realistic looking dog and charlie brown is a bowl of flower seeds?
it could be just a normal street scene in hell and the sign is demonic political graffiti.
or flowers are hell's peanuts, as in snack food. i could see demons devouring the symbol of earthly beauty.
so many possibilities.
