You may recognize her from all the media coverage she received as a part of her 150m high flesh hook suspension in Kaivopuisto, as a statement against the fur trade in Finland.
Hells Gate is an abrupt narrowing of British Columbia's Fraser River, located immediately downstream of Boston Bar in the southern Fraser Canyon. The towering rock walls of the Fraser River plunge toward each other forcing the waters through a passage only 35 metres (115 ft) wide.
My interpretation of what the entrances to heaven and hell (respectively) look like if they were to be defined by structures on Earth.
Latin for "Wicked men," these are the souls of evil, twisted men who have been sent to hell and given a second chance on the battlefield. Though given only basic training and light armor, they are given weaponry that goes beyond even Vigilantes And Knights technological advances. The demons of hell give them false promises of a peaceful eternity for their services, but they only wish cause more pain to the human race. Thus, if an iniqui soldier has died several times on the battlefield, they are sent back to hell to be devoured by the demons, never dying.

The hell cat design was the cumulative result of many different things. The body was something that has been on my mind for some time, and in many ways is the refined and distilled version of my very first guitar. It is actually closer to the sketch that inspired my first build than my first build ended up being.
I first sketched up the unique bridge shape this time last year. It was originally intended to be used for a fanned fret 8 string I was designing but the customer ended up backing out. I really liked the general shape though, so I changed for use on a mono scale six string.
The top is carved buckeye burl. The tailpiece, bridge, pickup covers, knobs, and truss rod cover (not in the photos) are made from claro walnut burl. the body has a soft maple core, with eastern black walnut wings. The neck is curly eastern black walnut. Headstock veneer is buckeye burl front and back. Peters logo is in copper, and the nut is buffalo horn. The fretboard is EIR with abalone set in copper. All the binding is curly maple.
It has a master volume, master tone, 3 way selector, and series/single/parallel switch for each pup. Pickups are GFS soapbar 180’s and tuners are grover locking.

A picture i took back in Cornwall in the summer. It was so windy we were basically dressed for winter in the middle of the summer. Unfortunately the endless rain really did jeopardise our holiday but we kept smiling and had a good time :)
After the building on the vacant lot was torn down someone, most likely the owner of the building with the awning (you'll see why I assume that in the next photo), painted "Welcome to Hell" on the remaining bits of that wall.
The building that was demolished had these ghost signs on it in September 2009.

Markings are a bit hard to see - but you do have several images to chose from. Logo in form of
- HELLER (HORSE) Made in USA -
with the Made in USA in smaller letters and USA under "Made in". Horse logo totally obscured by a rusty patch
Going all in on this - puller the head, now soaking in veneffr. Will prime/paint. Handle has some splits - glued in some 1/4" dowels and hope to stabilize. Will sand and probably seal. Did not get a look at bottom of handle yet to see if there is a weight mark
Wedge is an "S" shape and will be reset, I filed off about 1/4 -3/8" of the top of the handle to get some newer wood involved.
Myeong-dong (명동; 明洞)
According to the guidebook, Myeong-dong is "the most popular shopping area in the country". For those who've been to Tokyo, it's suffice to say that the place is akin to Shibuya or Harajuku, the kind of place where teenagers like to hang out at. Fashion stores, noraebang (karaoke box), restaurants, cinemas...
One thing's different, though. Here, you get preachers on the streets. This lady, for instance, was holding a Bible and singing some hymns in Korean, Japanese, English and Chinese. Next to her, was a signboard which openly bore, "Lord Jesus heaven, no Jesus hell".
Oh, I wish she's wrong. Because otherwise, I'll be going to hell...
An ancient Green Lane running between Symondsbury and North Chideock, close to the photogenic Colmer's Hill. Many carvings on the soft gully walls form an interesting art gallery, from many years ago to more current times. A damp dark environment with many ferns and roots from the hedgerow trees above.
