They need to bring back these cool parts. Way more character than what we have now.

Near my house there is a small creek that froze solid. The ice is full of bubbles and nice patterns, but because winter does not have much light available, it was hard to find a way to make the patterns visible. For this photo I used mu headlamp and let the light shine down into the ice, creating these nice shades in the bubbles and air trapped in the ice.

First fit of new headlamp brackets.

I guess I really liked this rock, 'cuz I sure took enough pictures of it. After I was done for the night, I had to pick my way through the rocks and brush back to the main trail. I headed the wrong direction a couple times. Apparently it gets dark at night.
