Headlamps from yet another unknown dark. Maybe an Aston Martin. Looks a bit Aston Martin to me, but I’m a bit rubbish at recognising expensive cars.

This is The 'Day Of Destruction' at Humberstone Speedway. We all love going to this a event and is the one event where all the kids go together.
A day of Demo Derbys and the destruction of trucks and school buses.

CREE makes some really bright LED's. This ThorFire CREE headlamp assembly is something like 5000 Lumens, on it's BRIGHT setting. I ordered it for around $15. I salvage lithium batteries from old laptop battery packs, and this headlight operates off of just one cell. A single lithium cell from a laptop pack is 3.7 to 4.2 vdc. I solder two cells in parallel, and solder the wire from the headlight to the homemade battery pack. I recharge with a lithium charger I use in my RC hobbies. In the link provided, you can opt to purchase the charger/battery from them if you don't want to tinker. Here's where you can get the headlamp, within the description you will see links to the charger and battery pack. Once you go to the link below, search for this item number: SKU131517
Here's the beam pattern from, on left, new lamp with 100/90Watt Halogen and on right 60/55W sealed beam unit. A no-brainer really.
This is my old 1996 Toyota Corolla, now driven by another family member. After 16 years and 200,000 miles, the headilghts have seen better days.
With winter and shorter daylight hours approaching, I thought it would be a good time to try one of those headlight restoration kits.
A nice day for a Jeep Expedition! This Jeep manuevers the rough terrain with Truck-Lite's 7 inch Round LED Headlamp
Bought at 92,000 miles - sold at approx 121,000 miles.
Less rattles then, than current Mk 4 at 60,000.
View of the peak from the second to last base camp on Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, West Africa (November 2011)... A team member's head lamp as caught as he walked from one tent to the next to offer chocolate before bed.
