Haystack Rock is near Cannon Beach, Oregon. The Pacific Ocean is quite cold to walk in and the tide was coming in this day.

My husband brought me to Cannon Beach, Oregon as a surprise for my 50th birthday. He knew I had always wanted to go there to photograph. It poured down raining the whole first day but the morning we were going to leave, the tide was out and there were blue skies. Part of what I like about this shot is the person in the photo which gives perspective just how large this rock is!
