Taken while descending from High Crag following a great walk over the High Stile ridge. This shot was rendered from two exposures.

I don't remember exactly what I did with the twirl to get this design but I liked it and even made a little video with it... Course Blue just happens to be my favorite color... :-)

Haystack Rock

Back from a great trip to Oregon.

Spent a couple of days chasing waterfalls, beaches and light with a friend.

One target was Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach, which rises over 200 feet from the beach. It was fun interacting with the other photographers who were capturing the scene at sunset. It was even more fun catching the color in the sky just after sunset. ;-)

This is the Haystack Rock at Seaside. There is a larger one at Pacific City and a third one down near Bandon.. Yes it is confusing but they are a bit different even tho they have the same name... Happy Sliders Sunday, Everybody!!!!
