Another perspective of Haven Brow from my February shoot. This particular image was taken a little further back as I was drawn to the curve of the pebbled bank and the groyne running across the out flowing River Cuckmere.

Taken on a rather dull day but when we got to Crackington Haven suddenly the light improved so I got busy with tripod camera and filters!

The ‘Société Anonyme des Magasins à Grains d’Anvers” was founded in 1892. This brick building was the first to be build in Antwerp. It is specifically used for grain storage and treatment.
A nice shot of Glen Haven Inn under the Aurora sky. Ive wanted to do this for a while but I didn’t know how this would turn out with the lights.

This picturesque barn now appears only of interest to treasure seekers, photographers and as a haven for birds. Its original purpose doesn't hold much interest for a young generation staring at shiny digital objects and the internet. But at one time this barn nearby a gravel road in the country helped a farmer provide for his family as well as serving as shelter for animals in Minnesota's bitter winters.

What surprised me about the winter lighthouse trip was the variability in ice and wind at each place. Just a few miles up the coast and ice disappeared or waves crashed into the lighthouse.
