Hmmm. Must admit that most HDR is a bit of a Marmite subject. Love it or hate it with absolutely naff all in between. Well done hdr to bring back some detail in a blown out sky is never a bad thing - but then it wouldn't have an HDR feel to it in the first place. Decided to go all out and embrace this in the spirit of things and go a bit over the top. Oddly, one or two of these I don't think are that bad but well over the top. Wouldn't want to adopt this as an ongoing style !!
