Eggs of Spotted catshark (Scyliorhinus Canicula).
The little sharks wiggling inside the egg sacks are kind of creepy.
This was scanned from a publication... don't recall which, perhaps an old Curtiss Fly Leaf.
The scene shows Curtiss Model 81s under construction in Buffalo, NY.
This shot was taken at the same time as THIS photo from my collection...
Fade to Black...

This is part of the brood chamber. Some cells have been used already and the eggs have developed into bees. You can just see bees gnawing their way through the wax capping on their little cell.
We also scraped off some drone cells from the bottom of the frames, and checked for signs of varroa in the grubs: fortunately, none.

On the left are the two pictures of the eggs that did not hatch. I wanted to know which eggs didn't hatch, since the pet store said Isis and her partner at the pet store had a clutch of eggs and none hatched. Since she laid the first two eggs at our house before she had mated with our bird, I figured they were the pet shop bird's eggs. It looks like my hypothesis was right. The first two eggs laid also did not hatch.
A clutch of turtle eggs was discovered in a mulch pile that was soon to be being used for flower beds. We were given the eggs a few weeks back when they were first found. The first hatched out yesterday and is still hauling a part of the yoke with it (normal). I am hoping more will soon follow. Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina).
Lucky to catch these spiders hatching. I had to shoot hand held since it was too high up for my tripod so lost a little sharpness.
