On may way home from Nutley, I found this original British-made and British-engineered Mini (with left-hand drive!) parked in a driveway along Watchung Avenue in the Brookdale section of Bloomfield, New Jersey.
The Mini, in production throughout the sixties and seventies, became as much a symbol of the United Kingdom in the '60s as the Beatles and James Bond. The Mini had a sport version engineered by John Cooper, predating the Golf GTI by about a decade.
There are also circular rings around the center slightly blocking the lugs. You need a key to unscrew the center ring before unscrewing the lugs. These wheels are awesome!
