The first time I've seen a Honda E in the metal. And with a retail price of over £30k and a range of 137 miles, I'm not likely see another too soon.
I had a suspicion I'd seen this before and indeed I have (see my Ford and 2018 albums). A true survivor with only minimum signs of rot that typically blights Fords of this era. 39,787 miles at last MOT, though I can't say if it has been round the clock.

On my way back home I found several old cars in the garden of the house of an inactive car mechanic. The place was deserted.
It was like a journey back in time. As if the clock had stopped working at Jan. 1, 1985 or so...
Some 25 cars from the 70s and a few from the 80s were lying there, overgrown by plants, rusting and decaying. All stranded projects.
Some people have the habit keeping everything in their life... this is how it can end.
Note the rear door: there's no paint at all anymore...
I wonder if there are still any useful parts at this wreck.
The R5 was designed by Michel Boué (1936-1971), and introduced in 1972.
In Aug. 1979 the 5-door version was presented, and came in !980 on the market.

The choice if you wanted a medium-size French hatchback in 1986. The Renault 11, as famously destroyed by Roger Moore in 'A View to a Kill', was only a three year old design but the Citroen GSA was right at the end of its life and rather dated, having originated back in 1970 as the GS.

Cars and trucks from mainland China are hard to catch in the Republic of China (Taiwan), pretty interesting, isn't it? Most common are the Geely Panda and Geely Panda Cross, marketed by Yulon Motor as tone M'car and W'car respectively. These weren't particularly good value - for the same money you could buy a Hyundai i10, imported from India. The Emgrand EC7 and EC7-RV were badged M'way and Q'way, but these are really rare.
Chery tried with the Fresh (A1), Apola (A3) and some Karry commercial vans. Chinese truck, bus and commercial van/pick-up company Foton sold some trucks, but it seems all these brands from mainland China have abandoned the Taiwanese market.
The Chery A3 was the first indigenous Chinese car to receive a five star rating in the C-NCAP crashtests. The car was styled by Pininfarina.

Way back the Palio Weekend was sold in the Netherlands, and I always liked that car.
In Poland I saw lots and lots of the Sedan-version, but a Hatchback is new to me. I never saw it before. I still think it's a shame that it wasn't sold here, I like it looks.
