What a lovely photograph, the catalogue title suggests that we are looking at Mrs. Joe Widger (Miss Morris), Liverpool, Mr. J. Widger and lady. I remember we have come across the Widger name before, it will be interesting to see how this photo fits in with others we have perused.

I bought this hat for Haruko before i had even bought her.
It's a kitty. ^_^ It came in the post today and it's absolutley the most adorable thing. This is a real quick picture as Haruko wanted to show it off. ^_^
It's a custom from the Etsy shop 'the enchanted pumpkin' by susyq19.
If I could do this over I would smile, but the hat fell off right after I hit the shutter and now it's a crumpled mess, oh well. :)

Married women shave their heads and eyebrows, and cover their teeth with gold.
this was taken yesterday, natural light in my "home studio"..she is only 6 months old. Honestly could she be any cuter??.........Love her to bits.
Yes, of course I know it's blurred. I even have a similar pic with his face in focus and the hat and pipe blurred. But somehow I prefer this one.

Kieje Hatal means night chant in the Navajo language. This image was inspired after finding this totem looking rock formation in a remote location on the Navajo Reservation.
2 exposures, the first at dusk for 2 minutes to record the movement of the clouds and pick up the soft blue glow. The second shot was... made some hours later after the sky cleared and stars revealed themselves. The second exposure is for 25 minutes at F5.6. I used my headlamp to paint the sandstone column.

Toby is tolerable with hats, but Riley is a mixed bag. Yesterday (when I was just practicing and not shooting at all) he was excellent.
Today - in front of my iPhone on its tripod (so - minimal setup - see stream for cute little iPhone tripod I use) and he was... unimpressed.
However, since I was using the kitchen lights and NOT the flash - I could take as many pictures (via remote) as I wanted.
Ha!
This was the best in the box (with only TWO that had both dogs with hats and me not in the picture).
(and yes, my dogs, my floors, and my cabinets are all the same color. This is actually where I shoot all my "studio" photographs - hence the usage of backdrops)
