Mom was also asked to be part of a panel discussion at SPAH. Here she's answering a question from the audience. The black bag before her is her oxygen tank.
She wears her gloves in public groups because of her compromised immune system, and sometimes her oxygen. Pics by Dad.
12th September 2016 at the Slaughtered Lamb, London EC1.
Folk and Roots, folkandroots.co.uk/.
Country: Canada - Quebec. Style: Traditional Québécois Folk.
Lineup: André Brunet (fiddle), Pierre-Luc Dupuis (v/accordion/harmonica), Éric Beaudry (v/bouzouki/g), with guests: David Boulanger (fiddle), Anna Lindblad (fiddle), Gaël Lefevere (bombarde).
This group was formed in 2003 when all three musicians were part of La Bottine Souriante. André Brunet was a member 1997-2006, Pierre-Luc Dupuis 2002-08, while Éric Beaudry joined in 2002 and is still there. Therefore all three were in the band when I saw La Bottine Souriante in Cork in 2005. Only Beaudry remained when I took photos of them in London in 2012 during the River of Music Festival, see: www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/sets/72157630983740926/. Also present that day though was David Boulanger (who joined La Bottine Souriante in 2007). He frequently plays with De Temps Antan when Brunet is unavailable, and was in London performing with Cirque Alfonse. So joined them for most of the set. The other guests were Anna Lindblad from Sweden, who I photographed with the Duhks a few months ago (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157661343808363/). and Gaël Lefevere from Brittany, who along with Brunet is in the band COEFF 4. Brunet also performs with Celtic Fiddle Festival, and I have taken photos before of him with all or part of the band, see: www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/andr%C3%A9brunet,-....

We did this last night and it was way too late. I don't think I can use any of the 'straight in da face shots' cause he's as naggered as i was. This one, however, is sort of cool & classic.
