It was great to catch up with the Saddleworth Mountain hares today, counted 11 in total including 3 in one photo.
Lovely animals to see, but very shy. Always take my photos from afar so I don't disturb them while they are chilling in the afternoon sun
There wasn't enough room for the title on the drawing itself. I don't know wether that's a plus or not....
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Here's a few from last summer that I've just been having a look over again... :)
…. Or are they really dancing? Now I bet they could Lindy hop!! One from a couple of months ago taken in the Courtyard at Attingham Park (N/Trust). Alan:-)

bit of a funny day on the coast last week it was very hazy and many of the shots even close up ones like this hare were not as sharp as they should have been
Looking like it is in the studio, and posing perfectly before heading out to where things are hopping.
A pair of Scottish Mountain Hares still in their winter coats sit among the brown heather near the shores of Loch Vrotachcan.
I had been out for a photoshoot of the sunrise and was just lay down at the sofa in the country house, than I discover Mr. Hare on our access road. Luckily I had the camera at the sofatable so i could take this picture true the windows. I got it printed and it has got its well deserved place on the wall.
A hare near the lakes at Schwandorf
This hare seemed quite unafraid of me even though it was aware of my presence. In fact, it kept getting closer to me as I was taking pictures. I eventually noticed a family of about 5 buzzards circling the area, who were probably getting all the attention of the hare and made it ignore me.
