Not the best Brown Hare shots by far. Heavy fog, no light and near darkness, but I’m still happy to sit, watch and photography these beautiful creatures. They are just so interesting and fun to watch.

Red clay with wax and burnt umber finish. Front view. This was the "wounded" rabbit (surgery was a success!).
Andy and I spent a wonderful day in the hills on Saturday with our good friends David and Margaret photographing Mountain Hare. It was a fantastic day with brilliant weather, great company and some very obliging Hares, we really couldn’t have asked for more! This particular Hare really didn’t seem at all bothered by my presence; it just relaxed once I had slowly gotten into position and seemed to forget that I was there. This was by far my best experience with these amazing animals; I really can’t get enough of them at the moment.
Please note that these images were taken with a 300mm lens and are full frame with no crop... as I said above what a fantastic day :o)
