Who are we? How do we identify ourselves? There is never a definite answer for that. Maybe the best answer

we could come up with might not do justice to what we actually are. But these questions have ever more relavance

during these testing time.

This is a photo series of people I met and photographed over the years. I do not remember most of their names

but the situations they were photographed have been embedded in my memory. They are people I met randomly and who

identified themselves through their expressions, not just facial but also the situations they were in while being

photographed.

With people wearing masks that cover up a good portion of their face due to the onset of COVID19, it is going to be

more difficult to capture a person's expression in future. Hence this series is even more special for me because I would

not be able to do this for very long time.

The way of life is changing, so are the expressions of identity.

I find it funny seeing the Cormorant flying back and forth with twigs in it's beak rather than bringing fish home. It almost look like they are obsessed on building the nest and don't bother eating :)

Fantastic GCSE results! 73% A*-C English and maths with 75% A*-C and 23% A*-A across all subjects! Well above the national average! Congratulations to students and teachers for all their hard work!

In July 2013 I was invited to a very sweet family in Medea. The mother is a hardworking principal and I had the pleasure to cook a nice dinner and prepare a dessert for her sons and friends. The huge bowl of strawberries on the table is made by me. We bought the strawberries at the local market and I made a dessert of it for us all. One of the many things I love about Algeria is the sweet hospitality which is rare in Europe. I have only encountered this tradition in Hungary. Maybe that is why I feel so good in Algeria when I am there, it is like coming home :-) Enjoy the image! /A

I noticed the man in the picture was the most hardworking among all during my visit. After a brief chat with him, only I aware that he is the second generation owner of this factory i.e. The Boss.
