To all the lovely ladies out there, doing the hardest job in thw world...HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to you all......
Hope you all had a lovely day...I did...I got spoilt, lovely new slippers, new pj's, a lavender smelly for my undies drawer, some lovely cards and homemade bookmarks. Spent the day with my mum, had breaky cooked for us by my dh, and then had my first every motobike lesson! It was sooooo cool. Then hung at home and went down the beach late to play frisbee and soccer. Came home and picked up Maccas for dinner. Just chillin now after a nice hot shower and in my new pj's.
I love being a mum, dont get me wrong it is very hard, tiring, draining and all those things sometimes...but overall it is the most amazing, wonderful, overwhelming and every positive word in the world I can think of. My babies came to me with alot of hard work. I was told at the age of 26 that there would be no babies for me or 1% chance of ever having children. I have polycystic ovaries and they were well pretty much stuffed. I had a couple of miscarriages before freckles and a couple more before the boy, I have also had one after the boy. I had hard pregnancies with alot of hospital visits and tests, and also 24 hour nausea and vomitting for all my pregnancies from the word go to whoa.
My story is not the worst by far, there are people out there who do it much tougher than I, and some who never get the chance and would kill to have morning sickness 24 hours a day.
But, I am grateful I went through that and would do it all again in a heartbeat. I have two divine children, who challenge me and make me grow every single day, and not a day goes by that I dont love them a little more than yesterday...
So to all you mums out there, I wish you all the following, may the happiest day of your past be the worst day of your future. Give your babies and extra hug and kiss today.
Oh it was also my beautiful Mum's birthday, so happy birthday Mum, and thank you for all that you do and all that you are. You are the best mum in the world!! xo
Junior Lindsay Kay prepares an organic dark chocolate mocha at the Happy Badger cafe on Monday night. Kay said the store's new cafe is different, but still retains the Happy Badger's old charm. "Everyone always loved the Happy Badger but now its new and improved," Kay said.

Happy Pi Day, everyone! For those of you who don't know what Pi day is, it is the day of the year on 3-14 (March 14th), where the first three digits in pie (3.14) thus, are matched with the date 3-14. Lol, I remember a couple of years ago, I won a contest in my math class for being able to recite the most digits of pie.... I think I got up to liek...the 48th digit |D...wow, I'm a nerd. XD And here I am now...years later..failing math..-_-"
^_^". I remeber winning a pizza for that! :D But anyway, Happy Pi Day of 2010!

Every New Years Day we get together as a family - each bringing food and celebrating in the New Year together. This year there was 15 of us, and as always we never forget the one who is missing. These are my nearest and dearest, forever in my heart....and will probably feature over the coming year.

With the Covid-19 lockdown preventing us from leaving home, Rita is having an unusual birthday, without the opportunity to meet with friends and family, other than virtually. Happy birthday sweetheart.

My exhibition in Germany closes tomorrow. A massive thank you to each and everyone involved. Thank you all for making this possible. The great party we had on opening night/morning still burns brightly in my memory..Just wish we could be there to do it all again with a closing party...Special thank you to Tim for uninstalling in my absence.
I'm not going to have time to set up another version of the exhibition here in MCR this Summer but will be looking into sorting it out for the not too distant future..

Recuerdo cómo te gustaba mirarme mientras le contaba mis cuentos a los niños, y lo que le gustaban a ellos mis historias, cómo les centelleaban los ojos cuando llegaba a la parte más interesante. En mis cuentos los protagonistas no eran reyes y princesas ricos, bañados de joyas. En mis cuentos los protagonistas eran personas tan sencillas que a muchos os parecerán aburridas. Personas que pasan desapercibidas en un mundo en el que, en realidad, somos hormiguitas. Pero en mis cuentos esas personas eran especiales, grandes, únicas.
Hoy has visto que la vida real es muy diferente. Que en el mundo sobran las personas y que da igual quien seas o como seas, siempre habrá alguien más inteligente, simpático, guapo, y con mayor talento que tú. Cuando te das cuenta de que en realidad no tienes valor ninguno, de que en esta sociedad eres completamente prescindible, sabes que ha llegado la hora de irse.
