My "Rock Star" friends and I got together again to decorate "Happy Rocks" for a local festival. We place them under trees, on a bench, on a fencepost, etc. We've been doing it for 5-6 years now so folks look forward to it! Much fun! :)

These are hearts that I have given to my husband over the last 24 years..it has only been the last 7 or so that I really have worked on always giving him one...I leave them on the counter in the morning and then they are gone I usually never see them again unless I ask to photograph them...{and that is mainly so I dont forget and get him the same one twice..which I have a similar one in there...} he takes these to work and keeps them on his desk..I think he probably puts them in a drawer...but he has the kind of office working for Boeing that we dont get to vist.....but I know he likes them and I like giving them to him!!! xo
This is where I watch thunderstorms rage, sip wine and watch the sun go down or cuddle in a blanket and read a book. Sometimes I just sit and listen to the birds and squirrels and life in the woods. My happy place.

26/52 Use A Mirror
Photography can be, as you all know, very two-dimensional and often quite flat. As photographers, we play with light and shadows and textures to try and make our photos look a bit more three-dimensional. This week, however, we are going to go explore another dimension…..the mirror dimension!
Mirrors at first glance (!) can be useful for taking a really cool reflection photo. However, we really want to encourage you to enter a new realm this week. You can create mirror abstracts, play with shards or small mirrors, mess around with optical illusions or make interesting composites.
The only limit is your imagination, so go and have a lot of fun and show us how it is done with mirrors!
