Shot taken at Chatsworth on Monday, while waiting until it was dark enough to walk round the light trail. Another shot in the comment below.
We had a few centimetres of snow the other day but sadly not enough for snow angels or sledging as a couple of hours after taking this shot of a very surprised looking fence post it had all turned to slush.

A favourite Small Tortoiseshell butterfly visited my garden. I am happy! I hope they do well this summer. Keep a patch of sunny nettles in your garden and these will hopefully lay eggs so their caterpillars can munch safely to maturity. :)
A few years ago they were in decline. I hope they do well this year.

Today 27 years ago at 1:29 a.m. I gave birth to this beautiful young woman beside me ("Ms Tina"). She was born 6 weeks early and the doctor informed me, she would be fine because she was a fighter. Boy was he correct!
She definitely is that and has always been. She takes life and runs with it.
She has brought her dad and I such joy and love.
Sweetie "Happy Birthday, we love you"
(PS - I can not have you move to another state; I will miss you so much and can not have my best friend that far away. I have to be near to my grandkiddos when you have them. Remember, I have to see those faces that I saw on your face and still from time still see.)

Happy Days is an American television sitcom that aired first-run on the ABC network from January 15, 1974, to July 19, 1984, with a total of 255 half-hour episodes spanning 11 seasons. WIT: We haven't seen my husband's grandson in months because of Covid concerns. He also spent some time in hospital. But he's better now, and it was great to see him. It was difficult to get a nice shot because he seemed to be always in front of the sliding door, so he was always backlit. I did a bit of photo editing to make his face look brighter.
