Handmade book from Peggy Haug of VT. I purchased a few of these handmade books several years ago while at the Basket Festival at Stowe, VT.
This card takes its inspiration from botanical prints. It shows the poppy – Paparveraceae – which has been cut out to highlight the drawing and it is set on a background of red spotted card. The card is blank inside so that it can be used for any occasion. You can buy this card and see other designs at www.handmade-cards-direct.co.uk
A chirimen kiku was sitting in my cupboard for some time
It's red and white, something I haven't done often and I think I'm in love with chirimen so much I'll grab myself some more soon.
It's soft and nice and though I love working with silks from kimono and all, I think this is more of a relaxation
I made this purses by first making some cupcakes and photographing them. I then edited my photos and created a pattern using photoshop. I then took my material and cut it down to the size of an A4 piece of paper and iron freezer paper to the back of it so that the material can go through the printer. I then printed my cupcake pattern on to my material. Once I had my pattern on the material I then made my purse.
