this is my bathroom door handle. see that it is old. original even. see that it is painted. many,many times. it reminds me of door handles that we had in houses that we lived in when i was growing up. i really like this door handle and the lock too.
when i first moved into this apartment. the bathroom door didnt really close all the way. actually, there was an inch or so gap left between door and frame when someone attempted to close it. not so good.
3 months and a few repair requests later the repair guys came out and "fixed" my door. they took it off and plained the inside edge (out in the hallway leaving much dust on the carpet) so that the door would "shut". they left a note saying "the latch is broken. if you would like the latch fixed, please call."
uh... couldn't fix the latch when you were here? and also when i said that the door didnt close i guess i assumed that the latching was included in that whole closing thing.
guess not!

The Cold Shoe Handle is the perfect way to add a top handle to your run and gun DSLR kit or your DSLR camera. Another great opportunity to replace a broken piece to perfectly good tools. The trigger to my hose attachment broke due to poor design. The original trigger had a very thin arm that broke off soon after I purchased the nozzle. I was able to monkey the trigger with lots of effort so I did not throw it away. I am glad I did not because the 3D printed replacement came out strong and with good fidelity. One of the greatest benefits of owning a 3D printer has been the ability to salvage so many tools and other belongings.
