Someone just broken the Z-axis handle on E-mill lathe, so I made the replacement. Unfortunately, there was no 3/8-16x5" socket head bolts, but regular hex head will work too. Handle is free-rotating, and it's pretty comfortable to hold it.

During a February, 2024 photo shoot at Maine's Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum, a WW&F train crew, led by Conductor Ed Lecuyer, backs their Sandy River & Rangelely Lakes mixed train past the photo line, in preparation for another photo run-by. In this frame, the crew is using the WW&F's standard hand and whistle signals to control their train, doing things exactly as they would have been done, long before there were any radios. At night, kerosene-burning lanterns would be substituted for the gloved hands, but the procedures would be the same. Photographers who attend photo events at the WW&F never have to worry about radios or microphone spoiling the look of their photos, because the crews simply don't ever use them.
This particular image depicts a special train, with WW&F Locomotive #9, dressed in the livery of her first owner, the Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad, which was Maine's largest 2-foot operation. It also depicts Franklin & Megantic Coach #2, which served the Sandy River as their Coach #21. The train is passing through a stretch of WW&F trackage known as Albee's Field, not far south of Milepost 7.
I am aboard the car rental office shuttle minibus ready to be taken the short distance to the departures. I'm slightly irritated that the bus left once without me, the driver seemingly in another world.
The sign on the upper part of the door states:
"DO NOT OPEN, the door is locked for security reasons.
An employee of Malagacar.com will open the door once the vehicle stops."
Another reason is probably because the door handle is broken - it is sheared off.
I couldn't get out even if I wanted to.

Looking to see what it is like at 0.95. Some post processing (obviously) but looking to see how out-of-focus highlights and sharpness are handled.

We decided to run away for the day. With all the stress from handling my father's estate, we needed a day to clear the mind. As always, it was a pleasure to enjoy time with my wife.
For Tanah Lot people, protecting house compound is great task that cannot be handled effectively by walls and gate only, especially when dealing with mystical disturbances. For Tanah Lot people mystical disturbance is as real as the physical one and some Tanah Lot people put more emphasis on the mystical disturbance when dealing with protecting house compound issue since it cannot be perceived with mortal eyes and proven to be harder to deal with than a mere physical disturbance.
Tanah Lot people believe that a mystical disturbance should be handled by a mystical guardian since ordinary human has no adequate power to penetrate into the mystical realm even though someone has enough mystical power he simply cannot stay alert 24/7 in order to guard his house compound from mystical. A typical Tanah Lot people house compound usually has two shrines for its two spirits that act as mystical guardians; each has its respective shrine.
