This is simply a window control handle at the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory on Belle Isle on New Year's Eve 2011.

I have a couple of fancy filters, left over from an old Richo KR5, that fit my NIKON 18/55 lens - I sometimes bring the filters out to have a play but do not find a real need for this kind of thing anymore but I would never get rid of these filters.
and I did clean the filrter but it is pouring with rain and there are still the dust bunnies

These handles make it easy to relocate these extra large floor cushions with ease...even a 3 year old can do it!
How on earth did I find time for two lots of 365? I have really struggled this week to find time to get my camera out, and today has been the first time it has been used this year! As in 2012 I'm doing a 52 rather than a 365, getting to the end of the first week and needing to force myself into the studio to take a photo, this is not a good sign. Struggling to think of anything to photograph as well.
This, by the way, was my butcher great grandfather's cleaver from his shop in Devon.

Two different kinds of handles which you can make at the end of your lines.
The chain knot handle is much easier on the sailor's hands (or gloves) and very quick to do and undo. (Just like when tying the boat to the dock!)
To make the handles, cleat the control lines at the maximum loose that you'll ever need and start making the handle right at the cleat. This gives you an impeccable stopper knot, a nice long handle, and keeps your boat clear of left-over lines!

Sheep Dog Handling Activity Day
Guests are instructed on the practical working skills of the dog on the farm using Turkeys as well as Geese. Ducks are then introduced and guests must try and get the dog to herd them around an obstacle course. Altogether a fun day and ideally suited for staff days or part of a multi activity day.
