I took pictures of all the bikes locked up out front. See what people really ride on the streets of Portland. There were also a few handbuilts (I mean by Americans).
The miniature shoes are individually sculpted from clay, bisque-fired and decorated in acrylic stains.
Note the side-by-side bottle cage braze-ons. The hole in the backside of the headtube is for a steering lock.
Went to a friend's garage to lent him a part, and found his handbuilt car almost done. He did all by himself, and even tough I didn't like the proportions of the resulting car, the job is well done. He had a 1974 Galaxie, that acording to him was "too far gone on rust" to be salvaged, so he used the frame, and 292 V8 engine to build this car. He says it's a Hot Rod. Is still laking the radiator shell, that's a '32 Ford part. I'm biased to talk, because I don't like Hot Rods, I'm more into cars in factory stock form.
