These are handbuilt pieces of pottery. I used a homemade plaster mold and coil contruction to start the pots. I carved sutble lines onto the smoothed surface to add movement and value. I then pit fired them in my backyard using wood, horse and cow manure ,and metal sheets. The red clay had beautiful
smokey warm tones after it was fired.
