This is male Hammock Spider (Pityohyphantes, Linyphiidae) in a new leaflet of Wild Sweetpea (Lathyrus vestitus, Fabaceae) in the woods today. It appears have another spider for prey. (San Marcos Pass, 11 December 2021)
3/15/2022 - I saw this hammock in Gustavia, St. Barts, French West Indies. The town is filled with very expensive shops. I saw the most luxury yachts in any port on the cruise.
New project: I have always wanted to try a camping hammock, but didn't want to buy one and find out I didn't like it. I sewed this hammock from 1.9 oz. ripstop nylon and the hex tarp from 1.3 oz. silnylon. I found the ideas and info on hammockforums.net.
We took advantage of an awesome 70°, cool breezy day to spend some sunset time in the hammock with Mackenzie.
