I did not stop my car while driving from La Grange to Houston after work to take this photo. I stopped to take a different, dead tree. But, this tree... This was magnificent! And in response to such a sublime moment with creation, I took this photograph instead.
Notice that the 4-5 foot tall fence posts are about the size of the diameter of the trunk of this tree. It was enormous in a way that could not be captured on the camera - only in how it could block the setting sun behind it halps communicate the scale.

- i have exams this week so i'll do what i can to take some pictures and try out some ideas. -also, in like 2 weeks i will be leaving for a week on a mission trip to Tennessee with my church. we were going to go to mexico, but we couldnt due to the war going on there. so instead were going to the poor parts of Tennessee in the mountains. we will be halping families there. i will have my camera, 2 charged battery's, and 2 huge memory cards. there will be tons of chances to take great photo's.im very excited to go. :D

Hi Folks, This is fun, just the thrill of doing some stoff with your camera, making some parts move and wolla.... You have what I think is a cool setup with lots of pictures combined with music. What can you say, what pops into my mind is MAGIC ;-) Hope you all like this and hopefully have som time to give some feedback on quality, setup, music, place and so on. Anything that may halp me improve my teqnice and skills within time lapse. For this seqence I took some parst from my previous film just to fill in some gaps. This is just One film of MANY to come of North Norway. This part of the contry side is just magnificent. So, please sit back and enjoy, I will for sure.

-naisopas tuodessa linja-autolla yöllä hotelliin ja ovella kysyessäni hotellista sanoi : ” Tämä on meidän jokerihotelli”…meni takaisin linja-autoon. pamautti oven kiinni ja lähti.
No…selvisihän, että sittenkin näköjään ”Tjärellä” on nimetty jokerihotelli, vaikka muuta väittävät
- hotellista vietiin viimeinenkin saippuapala loppuviikosta siivoojien toimesta
-hotellista joutui rakennuksesta jossa olin kävelemään kyyryssä noin 50 metrin käytävää, koska puutarhuri ei ollut toiminut hotellissa asianmukaisesti
-Tjärren erityismatkaehdoissa jokerimatkailija eristetään kuin olisi ” spitaalinen”, muusta toiminnasta eli
-tullessa kentällä paluuaikataulut käteen (ei opaspalveluja), kuitenkin jossakin vaiheessa tekstiviestillä pyydettiin osallistumaan Tjärren retkille maksua vastaan ?
-hotellissa ei toiminut kuljetus Ag. Marinan valtaväylälle, vaikka respassa oli aikataulut
- kaikkiaan sanoisin näitä Tjärren sääntöjä jokerista tylyimmiksi, mitä olen käyttänyt, vertaillessa muita matkanjärjestäjiä.
Jopa säännöissä on kohta, että …voi halutessaan ostaa paremman hotellin heiltä. Vaikuttaa tylyttämiseltä. Aina voi Välimeren alueella itsekin hankkia ovesta ulos menemällä paremman hotellin.
Kaikista näistä hotellin epäkohdista mainitsin hotellin respassa, mm saippuasta. Sanomattakin on selvää, että tähän huonehintaan ei kuulunut päivittäistä lakanoiden vaihtamista tai siivousta…en sellaista kaivannutkaan. Eikä nämä asiat minua häirinneet.

Bought this little thing off ebay. I have to do some research on it as it seems a little odd! There's a clear plastic strip on the back panel and the shutter button is in a wierd place. HALP!

the most romantic location in PARIS is the PONT DES ARTS pedestrian bridge which hosts the LOCKS OF LOVE=
students, artist and lovers rendez=vous at the bridge, therefore, it is only fitting that for the past 15 years my pals PASTELGINGER and her hubby LARRY always have a champagne picnic at the romantic setting
this year was a tad more memorable and it was not because of the strikes nor the cold winter chill in the air:
no, it was because while PASTELGINGER AND LARRY were having their yearly cha,pagne in crystal glasses toast and picnic on the bridge; a wanna=be singer joined them on thier bench and proceeded to seranade them with BEATLES tunes::::though the songs were heavely FRENCH accented BEATLE songs:::in the tune of LOT OT BEE LOT OT BEE ( I wont torture your ears with furture descriptions of the other songs)
Well after a couple of massacred BEATLE songs, PASTELGINGER AND LARRY, quietly gathered their champagne, glassses, abnd picnic fixings and moved to another bench ===away from the FRENCH BEATTLE SINGER
He followed them
and continued to sing, "HALP EYE NID SUMBOODY, NUT JOOST ANN=E BOODY"
yes, god=damn anybody "HALP" us PASTELGINGER said with the look in her eyes, then "Let's get the YELLOW SUBMARINE out of here!"
So their 15 year tradition BEATLELY interrupptede, PASTELGINGER AND LARRY pack up and run:
Only to hear = in the distance= FOOK OU! FOOK OU!
So LARRY turns around and responds; HEY BUDDY, AU COURANT, SI VOUS PLAIT, LADY GAGA OUI...BEATLES NON!!
