oh noes tomorrow i have a meeting at the JR railpass corner in Tokyo station. finding the specific place on the map doesn't really make me not worry. halp.
I don't usually carry my pocket Canon cameras with me anymore, therefore I had to make do with my phone for this unplanned shot of this kitten that wandered into the small supermarket.
Back in 2010 I carried two devices on my belt pouches - my Canon PowerShot S95 and a Sony Ericsson W995. The phone was very small and took barely passable images, so it made sense to have my proper camera with me all the time. These days I have two thick and heavy smartphones with me and it's a burden if I had to bring along a compact P&S camera as well.
Anyway, I managed to pick up this little one and he didn't even put up a struggle! 😻

I really liked this picture of Mason, but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the stupid lens flare, beyond adjusting it from a sort of monochromatic green! Craigers even helped me, including trying to 'splain layers and how the clone stamp actually works.

Whiskey, the resident welcome cat meets and greets Joey in the pet carrier.
It was a tense moment for me for twenty seconds, wondering which cat would hiss at the other first. Fortunately both cats were curious of one another and greeted like old friends.
Rusty: "Hey, Borgy, don't run away!"
Robby: "We have to work a bit on your adjustments again."
Candy: "I don't think Borgy appreciates you working on him all the time. - Or maybe he is just afraid of Billder's hammer..."
Billder: "I was going to hammer him only a little bit..."
Borgy: "HALP!"

Slight changes to an old favorite of mine....can't halp thinking that this image would be so much more interesting if the lad was holding a Winchester.....added to my shopping list of props!.

Anxious for his next meal, Sunny lets out a huge yawn. His teeth look quite all right to me but he's already developed lentigo spots on his inner lips, typical for a ginger tabby.
Anyway, he was out of the cage after I took this shot. Sunny is quite calm whenever I put him in here for a few minutes, while preparing his food.
Cherie and Sunny love to wrestle with one another, whether it's indoors or outdoors. They do this several times a day when they're together. It usually begins with mutual grooming and then Cherie would start their play fighting by launching herself on Sunny. This does get ugly after a while, with each biting one another, enough to cause pain but no visible injuries.
Here's a moment when Cherie gets the upper hand and Sunny found himself overwhelmed with her attack. For those who don't know, crying "Uncle" is a known way to letting the opponent know that the loser has had enough. ☺️
Hey all! Thought I'd upload this now; I'm not sure when it will be listed in the store but it doesn't hurt to post early.
I've been rushing to meet the deadline so I haven't any other decent photos of this, though I should be able to get to them this weekend.

I came across this Trashcan such previously had a midnight fire going keeping the vagrants and vagabonds warm threw out the Florida, it was so perfect melted and infused together I couldn’t halp but get it on camera 4/29/20
although an old shot, and only a semi-SP, i'm reposting it just to say hey to you flickr friends and acquaintances during this very trying hiatus.
still waiting to see if i can get my hard drive salvaged from the dead computer. meantime, a generous friend has loaned me an ancient system to at least have online access at home back in place.
(2 days later - update: verizon mistakenly disconnected my internet service and can't figure out how to reconnect it. offline at home again! bear with me ... )
so, still can't transfer any shots, may have lost my photoshop in the crash and burn. the questions remain about getting a new computer let alone replacing photoshop (those questions being "where/when/how exactly am i going to get the bucks for those?!")
yes, it's been liberating to an extent. but i've been finding myself taking relatively few photos in these past weeks. and that's perplexing, worrying me a little (as photography has been my saving grace in the past 3 years ... )
i've also waaaaaay lost track of y'alls streams seeing as i haven't been able to get here for so long. i'm sorry.

Joey has been scratching himself for a while and I decided to have him examined for fleas or mites. Since he was already in the examination room, I asked the vet to check his blood pressure.
I was alarmed at first when I heard the sound of the shaver and stopped the vet from further shaving off his paw. She told me that the clinic used an older Doppler type blood pressure equipment, which necessitated shaving of Joey's fur.
I firmly told her that the Animal Hospital had a digital sphygmomanometer and didn't require shaving. The vet relented and said that they would try to get a reading without having to shave off his fur.
Joey's blood pressure came to be 155mm Hg systolic, which is slightly elevated for a normal healthy cat. But he's been given enalapril every morning to control his blood pressure, so the vet presumed that Joey's BP went up as he was extremely nervous being at the vet's.
His flea problem was dealt with after the blood pressure check. It turned out that I had not given him anti-flea meds since July 2021 and the fleas returned. A thorough exam revealed that Joey only had fleas around the base of his neck, but not mites. He was given a dose of Revolution and the fleas should be dropping dead within the next 48 hours.
Candy: "What animal is this?"

Baron von Munchy: "No, it's a lion! Look at the tail!"

For da third summer in a row, The Belli Hammies and the Bellisseria Animal Sanctuary bring back the Big Splash Adventure Oasis Water Park, 2023!!

We haz some of the usual favourites like the kids splash park and the dance/entertainment area and bar.
But we haz added a few new things as well.
- Interactive tables and food items in the snack area from "My Story" in adult and kids sizes for families that want a more immersive experience.
- A brand new lagoon design in a lush, tropical setting.
- Playable volleyball
- new, fun floats to relax on in the lagoon
- Beautiful, shaded cabanas for when yew need a break from da sun.
-Tons of snacks, drinks and frozen treats to halp keep yew cool!
And of course new slide designs for you to enjoy!
Did we mention we haz SNACKS???
We will open da park on Saturday, July 15th with our grand opening party starting at 12:00 pm slt - 3:00 pm slt wiff DJ Hammie and VariHammy!
The DJ schedule is almost complete so we will post that before the park opens along with a calendar link and the LM!

I'm terrible at names for weapons. Halp.
Anyways, here's my latest and greatest. I took Epicsunrise's advice and did the better shading. I think It looks better, personally. Also, I may or may not be starting a group, although I have no idea what the requirements would be, so therefore it may not be happening. (I stole the scope off of my MA3)
