The sound of rain had something calming. Like wind brushing through treetops or waves crushing at a distant shore; like white noise, without it's emptiness. Vivian Greene once said that life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. Yuta couldn't agree more to these words.

"Are you ready?", he asked with an excited smirk on his face. Some people prefer to stay inside during rainy weather, however, that didn't apply for Filippo and Yuta. For them, there was barely a thing that was more refreshing than a walk in the rain.

"Of course, let's go!", Filippo replied and grabbed an umbrella on their way out. The pouring rain cloaked everything in silence and washed the dirt off the abandoned streets. It had something cathartic.

"I should have drank some water before we left.", Filippo suddenly stated with a sigh. "I got this taste of toothpaste in my mouth. It's the worst!"

Yuta couldn't help but laugh out loud: "You don't like the taste toothpaste?" Filippo never ceased to surprise him with random facts and he loved that.

"Are you for real? I hate it! Stop laughing about my pain."

"Oh no, this is a serious matter. I feel your suffering.", Yuta replied in a sarcastic manner, trying his best to keep a straight face. "I'm sure coffee would help!"

"I hate coffee too!"

"I know."

Filippo grabbed Yuta's arms and quickly pulled him closer.

"Come here! Smell my toothpaste-breath so you can suffer with me!"

"HALP!", Yuta cried. Though this caught him by surprise, he managed to cover Filippo's mouth with his hand.

"C'mon!", Fillippo's muffled words got out underneath Yuta's hand. Both of them struggled for a moment, trying to win the upper hand, as the realization sunk in of what this must look like to outsiders. Both cracked up at the same time, slowly releasing each other.

"You're the worst.", Filippo said, still laughing.

"No you!", Yuta replied, knowing his friend meant the opposite. Gently he bopped Filippo in his side as they continued their way.

1: On your monitor, can you see the trees along the treeline or is it all black? If so, are they too pronounced and lacking in contrast?

2: Do you prefer this version or the older version with a slightly darker foreground?
