I wandered over to Sixdigital's new sim the view of the little harbor town area and the birds circling the lighthouse I semi-instantly channeled Hitchcock's 'The Birds' and that goddess Tippi Hedren in her blond updo and those never to be forgotten blood red fingernails (talons really). made me laugh I hope you do too.

The sound of rain had something calming. Like wind brushing through treetops or waves crushing at a distant shore; like white noise, without it's emptiness. Vivian Greene once said that life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. Yuta couldn't agree more to these words.
"Are you ready?", he asked with an excited smirk on his face. Some people prefer to stay inside during rainy weather, however, that didn't apply for Filippo and Yuta. For them, there was barely a thing that was more refreshing than a walk in the rain.
"Of course, let's go!", Filippo replied and grabbed an umbrella on their way out. The pouring rain cloaked everything in silence and washed the dirt off the abandoned streets. It had something cathartic.
"I should have drank some water before we left.", Filippo suddenly stated with a sigh. "I got this taste of toothpaste in my mouth. It's the worst!"
Yuta couldn't help but laugh out loud: "You don't like the taste toothpaste?" Filippo never ceased to surprise him with random facts and he loved that.
"Are you for real? I hate it! Stop laughing about my pain."
"Oh no, this is a serious matter. I feel your suffering.", Yuta replied in a sarcastic manner, trying his best to keep a straight face. "I'm sure coffee would help!"
"I hate coffee too!"
"I know."
Filippo grabbed Yuta's arms and quickly pulled him closer.
"Come here! Smell my toothpaste-breath so you can suffer with me!"
"HALP!", Yuta cried. Though this caught him by surprise, he managed to cover Filippo's mouth with his hand.
"C'mon!", Fillippo's muffled words got out underneath Yuta's hand. Both of them struggled for a moment, trying to win the upper hand, as the realization sunk in of what this must look like to outsiders. Both cracked up at the same time, slowly releasing each other.
"You're the worst.", Filippo said, still laughing.
"No you!", Yuta replied, knowing his friend meant the opposite. Gently he bopped Filippo in his side as they continued their way.

Just double check this camera lens combo at the zoo. I have some weird thing with the R7, i have to find out why, there seems to be halping some shifting in focus sometimes when it is difficult with ef lenses and lenses that don’t support the dof and simulation but only exposure simulation. If you use an ef lens for instance and you have a hard scenery it sometimes tent to just when you take the foto. I used 1st curtain shutter when these things happened. This one however is perfect. Love the af however on some animals it thinks the ear is the eye, most of the times this happens by turned or half turned faces of the animals. In the wild i could not get this sharp shots because the animals are quit far away. Looks like the 300mm f4 L IS is handeling this R7 very well.

I don't usually carry my pocket Canon cameras with me anymore, therefore I had to make do with my phone for this unplanned shot of this kitten that wandered into the small supermarket.
Back in 2010 I carried two devices on my belt pouches - my Canon PowerShot S95 and a Sony Ericsson W995. The phone was very small and took barely passable images, so it made sense to have my proper camera with me all the time. These days I have two thick and heavy smartphones with me and it's a burden if I had to bring along a compact P&S camera as well.
Anyway, I managed to pick up this little one and he didn't even put up a struggle! 😻
No dogs were harmed in the taking of this photo. They are brothers, and they play rough.
