GWT 630 is a Burlingham-bodied Albion Valkyrie CX13 which was new in December 1947 (66 years old), and with a top speed of 30mph. It has been preserved as South Yorkshire (Pontefract) 61, being owned and operated by GP Lawson trading as Yesteryear Coaches - I have a photo of this in York outside the former LNER offices (Cedar Court Hotel)

Pond dipped by children at magor Marsh. I've never seen one this amazingly bright green, though i'm given to understand it probably indicates a recent moult. Believed to be Azure damselfly.

GWT HST led by Class 43 No.43087 heads towards Powderham,with the 11:03 London Paddington to Plymouth service,on the 26th of November 2018.

Among the visiting vehicles at the 1977 Sandtoft Gathering are LAK 303G and 891 GWT.

 

On the left, LAK 303G is West Yorkshire PTE 2303. It is a Leyland PD3A/12 with Alexander E type forward entrance bodywork, new in 1969 as Bradford City Transport 303.

 

On the right, 891 GWT is a Guy Arab V with Roe bodywork which was new to Blue Line, Armthorpe in 1963.

As they look now, in the short period between the fading of the green-winged orchids and the full emergence of the common spotted orchids.
