April 22, 2022 - 16th Century Masons' Guild Hall located at Sint-Niklaasstraat 2, 9000 Gent, Belgium. I am not sure when the modern glass addition was added to the building. "The Masons’ Guild House was built in a flamboyant Gothic style opposite the Sint- Niklaaskerk to show off the stone carving skills of the city’s masons. It eventually disappeared behind a later building. People thought it had been demolished and so in 1913 a replica was constructed at Graslei 8. The original was later found during building work and six modern dancing figures were added at the top." This was shot from the window of our guild's regular meeting place. Always a great view of the best sunsets. Yeah - we rock. : ) No claustrophobia for me here.
These guilded leaves are on the gates of the College of Arms in London. It was taken on a dreary Saturday afternoon, and the gold just seemed so bright against the dark background.

This was a dollar store ceramic birdhouse. I thought the shape was pretty, and wanted to use up some of my small tesserae.
I used tiles, glass, wire, beads, porceline flowers, gold washed grout, beaded chain and copper pipe.
Just need to find a small bird to poke inside.

Sniped in the last second on Ebay Germany for a ridiculously low price. 1996 Guild JF30-12 made in Westerly. My first guitar with maple back and sides, and my first ever 12-string too. I can't believe my luck.
