A challenge build for the Guilds of Historica forum on EB. This had to be build on a 16x16 max base, and depicts a group of dwarves being spied upon by blackbirds. Thanks for looking!
Walking along this beach in Northumberland I noticed the light at a certain angle catching the tide-line giving it a golden hue. There was only a small area where the beach had been smoothed and the tide had lazily ended that showed this effect. I love the constantly changing patterns that each new cycle of tides leave where land and sea meet - an endless source of inspiration and joy searching for them.
Guilds of Historica Book II Challenge 1 C entry.
Soraya of the Hashishin has been sent by the Black Spire to recruit a tribe of cyclops. The cyclops matriarch has has accepted to join her forces to the cause of the Black Spire, after some persuasion and promises of freedom for her tribe from the Nocturnian yoke of tributes they have long suffered under.
Soraya hands over the colors of the Black Spire to the cyclops. They will soon get ready to go to war and join the ranks of Lord Raavage, and finally get their chance to dethrone that pesky Lord Ssilyrrlith.
Large, boldly marked barbet of lowland rainforest. Plumage is variable: throat and breast range from yellow to red while the rest of the body is marked yellow and black. Found in a variety of habitats from forest edge to mature rainforest. Its hooting song is far reaching and can be told from other barbets by its pattern: a series of doubled hoots that accelerate.
This one was photographed in Ecuador guided by Neotropic Photo Tours.
Guilds of Historica Book II Challenge 1 B entry.
In order to establish dominance over the swamplands of Nocturnus, the Black Spire has established outposts on well defendable locations. As the swamp is filled with way too much entangled plants, the only way to reach the tower on this rock is by a wooden walkway.
The Guild is a intergalactic mercenary corps. They specialize in everything from inciting government coups to guarding merchant ships.
The Reaper is a specialized section of the mechanized infantry dealing with most of the recon or assassination missions.

I hope you guys don't mind me reposting these figs. :P My faction for the Swarm. Anyone have any ideas about where this faction should be located? (In the World) Please comment if you favorite! :)
Another reason to mess with the fog machine! (I promise, the fog machine's only purpose is Lego-related. I don't bust it out at parties or anything!)
Hello!
This foggy, swampy outpost is another freebuild for the GoH forum on Eurobricks - I suppose that's not much of a surprise anymore! I feel like this is my best MOC up-to-date, or at least I hope so because getting those three roofs to sit flush with one another was frustrating as hell. I had a lot of fun building this one, and I hope you enjoy! Feedback always welcomed!
And to you gator fans out there, I apologize for the brutality witnessed above, but that's some darn good eating!
The rarefied views from the stately towers of the Upper East Side and the new palaces in the sky of the rising towers of Billionaires' Row... all for the those Central Park views.

"The Plague Column in Moravská Třebová is located on TG Masaryk Square.
In 1715–1716, Moravská Třebová was plagued by a plague epidemic. The construction of the column was entrusted to Jan Sturmer, originally from Královce, a burgher and guild sculptor from Olomouc.
The column is gilded, equipped with Latin inscriptions and statues of saints. In the lower level are the statues of St. Sebastian, St. Rocha, St. Charles Borromeo and St. Francis Xavier. There are also smaller statues of St. Joseph, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Peter of Alcantara and St. John of Nepomuck.
Moravská Třebová (Moravian Střebová, German Mährisch Trübau) is a town located in the Pardubice Region, in the Svitavy District, in northwestern Moravia. Approximately 9,700 inhabitants live here.
The town was founded in 1257 by Boreš from Rýzmburk as a typical colonization town with a regular square layout. A number of buildings and works of art still remind us of the economic prosperity and high cultural level of the city during the reign of the lords of Boskovice and Ladislav Velen of Žerotín (1486–1622), when Moravská Třebová was a center of humanistic education and was nicknamed the Moravian Athena.
Until 1945, Moravská Třebová was part of the German language island called Hřebečsko (Schönhengstgau) and its economic life was always dominated by textile production.
The possible origin of the name Moravská Třebová is twofold: either it comes from the personal name Třeb, which was the domestic form of some name containing Třeb- (e.g. Třebomysl, Třebohost, Třebovít) or from the name of the river Třebová, whose name is the old adjective třebová (i.e. water, river, etc.) and denoting a water course flowing through a refined, i.e. cut, place. The epithet Moravská has been documented since the end of the 13th century to distinguish it from nearby Česká Třebová. The German name originated from Czech.
The city was founded in the second half of the 13th century by the Czech nobleman Boreš of Rýzmburk, the oldest written mention comes from 1270. The first flourishing occurred under Ladislav of Boskovice after 1485. After fires in 1509 and 1540, the city was expanded, built of stone and brick, and fortified with stone walls with eleven bastions. In the possession of Ladislav Velen from Žerotín at the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, it became a center of humanism and was nicknamed the Moravian Athena. Ladislav Velen also had the current pride of the city built, the Mannerist arcaded wings of the castle. After the Thirty Years' War, the entire estate was in the possession of the Liechtensteins and gradually declined. In 1660, Gregor Francz worked as a magistrate in the town. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the textile industry gained importance, but the neighboring Svitavy gained a head start in this regard thanks to the railway. Railways (today's Trať 017) have been running through Moravská Třebová since 1889. In the first half of the 20th century, German nationalism grew stronger in the town, especially after the declaration of Czechoslovakia and during the economic crisis of the 1930s. During World War II, the city and the surrounding area became part of the German Empire. After the war, the original German population was displaced. The independent villages of Sušice, Udánky and the large village of Boršov were gradually added to the city.
Moravia (Czech: Morava [ˈmorava]; German: Mähren) is a historical region in the east of the Czech Republic and one of three historical Czech lands, with Bohemia and Czech Silesia.
The medieval and early modern Margraviate of Moravia was a crown land of the Lands of the Bohemian Crown from 1348 to 1918, an imperial state of the Holy Roman Empire from 1004 to 1806, a crown land of the Austrian Empire from 1804 to 1867, and a part of Austria-Hungary from 1867 to 1918. Moravia was one of the five lands of Czechoslovakia founded in 1918. In 1928 it was merged with Czech Silesia, and then dissolved in 1948 during the abolition of the land system following the communist coup d'état.
Its area of 22,623.41 km2 is home to about 3.2 million of the Czech Republic's 10.8 million inhabitants. The people are historically named Moravians, a subgroup of Czechs, the other group being called Bohemians. The land takes its name from the Morava river, which runs from its north to south, being its principal watercourse. Moravia's largest city and historical capital is Brno. Before being sacked by the Swedish army during the Thirty Years' War, Olomouc served as the Moravian capital, and it is still the seat of the Archdiocese of Olomouc. Until the expulsions after 1945, significant parts of Moravia were German speaking." - info from Wikipedia.

" Today, I met Jeorn at the beach, were the ship lays. There were also Frirar, Galmor, and 2 others loyal soldiers, Knut and Olf. We usually meet at the common house, but it's the morning, and every Garhim who still hasn't a house sleep there. The ship suffered from his last expedition, since it hasn't served for years. Now, the forgeworker are crafting a new anchor, and some Garhims are preparing the new sail.
- So, what are we doing here said I
- We got to talk.
-About what ?
-The future of this village.
-Yes, started Olf For the moment, we have a lot of stone that we recovered from the old city. But we're running out of wood. And we will not be able to finish some of the houses.
- Okay, thank you Olf
- Frerar said Knut we're having the same problem about food. We have enough fishs and meat, but almost all our grain burnt in the city. Actually, it will be okay for this winter, but we will have to start trades with Lenfald.
- Yes, sure. So, about trade, how is the mine going, Galmor ?
- Actually, really good. We found a new deposit yesterday, and there are plenty others. We will not run out of iron. We have to much of it, since we melted all the unused weapons.
- So then we will have stuffs to trade !
- Yes said Jeorn Someone has to go to Lenfald to start trades ! Olf, Knut and Galmor should be part of the expedition, as well as some of our traders and merchants.
- And who will lead ?
- You, Frerar !
- Me ??? I can row, but I'm not a navigator ! You're Jeorn.
- Yeah, but I prefer to stay. I have to supervise the construction of the protective wall. And I will teach youn Frerar.
- Well, okay. I will try to do my best. Frirar will come with me too, as well as Forin and Gobar.
And you will take care of the home !
- Yes, I will "

Portrait de JOHN LENNON (par JEAN-PAUL DE PERETTI. Juin 1974). (Autre sous-titre : The BEATLES - "Mes 17 ans"...)
The guild masters were not just guild masters, but true magicians of their craft. Together, they transformed their town into a city of renowned artisans.
There was Zyko, for example; no one else could write on paper faster or more skillfully than he could. And what he read or saw, he preserved forever.
Catya, the magical blacksmith, could not only work metal but also crystal into razor-sharp blades, like no one before her.
Then there was Zillpo. No one has ever played or crafted more stringed instruments than he did.
With Macari, it's uncertain whether anyone had ever made more brooms than him, or even if brooms were known before him.
And last but not least, Basius, artist and enthusiast of glassware. His creations were in demand worldwide.
