Following the trackbed of the 1847 Cambridge to St Ives ‘branch’, the Cambridge Guided Busway now provides a leisurely cruise through the Cambridgeshire Fens. At 16miles, I believe it’s the world’s longest guided busway.
Runs on the off side at Norwood for Folkton & Flixton during a nine-wicket defeat by hosts Beverley Town in a second-versus-third York & District Senior Cricket League Premier Division fixture.
Beverley Town's victory, clinched with eight overs to spare, boosted their chances of securing a return to the ECB-rated Yorkshire Premier Cricket League North.
Chasing 233, Ben Hatfield hit 113 not out (14 fours, two sixes) after featuring in a stand of 164 with Olly Grantham (72) for the first Beverley Town wicket. Anthony Spence was unbeaten on 32. Three dropped catches didn't help Folkton & Flixton's cause as the hosts reached 233-1 by hitting a six off the last ball of the 42nd over.
Earlier, put in, Folkton & Flixton laboured to 100-5, opener Will Hutchinson contributing 34, before Will Norman (54 in 61 balls) and Max Harland (52 in 51) put on 96 for the sixth wicket. The visitors completed their 50 overs, totalling 232-9. Thomas Haytack took 3-36, captain Jamie Roe 3-56 (including two wickets in consecutive deliveries). It looked as though Beverley had let the visitors off the hook. In the event, the run chase was plain sailing.
After that afternoon's round of games, leaders Sessay (446 points, 22.30 average), like Beverley eyeing a return to ECB standard cricket, remain the likely champions. Folkton & Flixton (370, 19.47) drop to fourth, with Malton & Old Malton (410, 20.50) leapfrogging them into third. Beverley, still second, are now on 402, 21.16.

This rapids is called Guide Ejector, because that's what happens sometimes. Too bad for the customers, who are left without a guide...
After spending the past two days rafting, I'm going to nurse my sore shoulders today and not go back on the river until tomorrow.

this was used in WWII by the Germans against the American Bombers. it was guided by a thin wire that steered the missile through the wings/fins. it was developed long before anyone could master the technology.
About The Series: The focal press guides, usually but not always written by the indefatigable W. D. Emanuel are a treasure trove for collectors of cameras. Not for the sections on how to use individual cameras (which do, however contain a great deal of good sense) but for the descriptions of different models. They are the first source to go to if you want to know the difference between (for example) an Ensign Selfix 16/20 Model I and an Ensign Selfix Model II or how many elements the Trinar lens in your Regula camera has
This low-placed light looked interesting as a glowing guide on the patio walkway of a building in Morro Bay.
Instead of mapping out Metroid Fusion, I just wrote it out in words, using basic directional pointers and hints. This is a guide for somebody who has already beaten the game, my vague directions probably won't help a newcomer. No major skips, low% or 100% stuff here, just the stuff I like to get.
On the second day, at 2.30am, we ascended from Laban Rata Resthouse to the Summit.
The weather was fine and the moon was shining so brightly that we could even hike up the mountain without torchlight. The oxygen level was getting lower each time we ascended.
I wanted to give up, initially, but after much encouragement from our guide I carried on, simply for one reason: I wanted to catch the sunrise view at the top of Mount Kinabalu. Being determined & BREATHING HARD, up I went! Not forgetting, PRAYER, too. I wanna specially thank Joyce for being my prayer partner. We prayed & we climbed, step by step. And then she reminded me of this song:
Every move I make
I make in You
You make me move Jesus
Every breath I take
I breathe in You
Every step I take
I take in You
You are my way Jesus
Every breath I take
I breathe in You
