After finding a stud using a decent studfinder I taped the drill bit to make sure I don't drill further than needed.
This guy, James, was our excellent guide on our horseback riding trip through the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park in Alaska.
Project: This is our current worship guide. Printing on ledger paper and trifolded. I've been tasked with a possible redesign.
Direction: Something creative. Must keep order of worship and some sort of cover art.
I've been staring at (and hating) this worship guide for quite a while. They've had this layout, in various forms, for years. So the pastors even contemplating changing it is HUGE.
Before embarking on this, I'd like to get some feedback on the current design. What would YOU change about this design?

A brand new project I've started working on this summer is my 'Audio Guide' series.
As I was walking around Stonehenge I noticed something that had been bothering me on my last few visits to big old attractions. It was quiet. Abnormally quiet. Especially when you consider the volume of people visiting there.
When I was little there were noisy groups following one guide, waving their arms around expressively in just about any given language. You could stand and listen for a while (feeling like a naughty hanger on) or you could browse the informational placques dotted in relevant places. Now, there are Audio Guides.
They are probably interesting, I must admit I've never taken one, but as a photographer I like to soak up the scene with sights, smells, sounds and all. Now I began to notice couples distanced from each other. Groups in uncanny silence. Spectators with blank, distant looks.
And I began hipshooting with the iPhone, trying to capture the same expression I was witnessing over and over again.
I guess this is a small study for what could become a much larger project for me and my 5d. Heck I could even use the Pentax 6x7 because no one would notice the sound of the shutter. They are too busy listening to the Audio Guide.

Guided tours for grades K-12
Available: November 7, 2012 - February 8, 2013
Guided tours last 60 minutes for K-12 school groups. On their tour, students will discuss works in the "Collecting Matisse and Modern Masters", "Time Capsule, Age 13 to 21: The Contemporary Art Collection of Jason Rubell", and "Mark Bradford" exhibitions. Guided tours engage students in discussions about the artwork on view while encouraging critical thinking and the development of higher-order processing skills.
