As the years go by, the plants spread where they want

I didn't see Kanga for two weeks, but boy did she grow! She needs to put on weight to survive the cold days, but it's still amazing how fast it goes (Squirrels-2020-8704.jpg)

Soon these bags will be heavy laden with an amazing growth of these delicate shrooms. A mist fills the room, creating an eerie feeling along with the proper conditions for healthy growth. The king oyster and blue oyster varities are grown in a similar manner.

According to my son, mushrooms are famous for picking up toxins in their environment so eating organic varities is an excellent choice.

He sells them to local restaurants and at several farmer's markets.

As I let the sunflowers grow where they will, I've been slow to mow the backyard for fear I ruin the sunflower show.

Carrie's quite obsessive with makeup and clothes and boys. Has been for years. ;)

a great line from a combo florist and bookstore.

Before the Rose begins to capture our senses it starts off as a bud. It may be overlooked by larger more colorful of the same species but nonetheless it’s also a Rose. “Growing” is something that all living things go through. I’m sure this particular bud grew as large and photogenic as any other bud in that particular rose bush. Thanks for viewing my photos. I hope that Gratitude and Kindness are a part of your day today.

I love how the lupines grow wild all over the place on the east coast.

Saar and Sammy are growing up quickly. They make a wonderful pair and they get along very well when they play or lie together. They are sisters, but the differences between them are beginning to show as well, both in appearance and character. Their relationship with Pip is getting better too.

I had to revisit my Bushy Park file before I fill it up again with the rut which isn’t far off.

Sep. 26, 2016: One of several vehicles with trees growing out of them at the Solar Living Center near Hopland, California. The Grow Thru Car grove contrasts with the drive-through Redwood trees just up Highway 101. A year ago, the site was purchased and now called the EcuTerra Center. #growthrucars #highway101 #solarlivinginstitute

more here.

The two year anniversary of me joining flickr and tumblr quietly occurred last week without even my remembering. The power of the internet is astounding; my life has changed forever because of those two websites. They opened my eyes to the world of photography and art in ways which I never knew existed, and even though I'm not as social on flickr as I used to be or should be, it and tumblr will always hold a special place in my heart.

also, I'm about to hit 20,000 views on my photostream. Wow. Thank you all so much.
