A wet wheel grinder was used to square the ends of small springs. The piece of channel has a hole for the spring, and rides directly on the wheel. The material remains cool and gentle finger pressure guides the spring in the hole.

A worker grinds dried red chilly into powder in a small sweat shop in Quilon bazaar. The small room had so much chilly vapors as to give you a sneeze fit but this guy stayed there and worked effortlessly for 10 hours a day.

Private David Izatt served with the Australian Army Medical Corps, attached first to the 2nd Australian General Hospital then the 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station. Pte Izatt embarked from Sydney on the Kyarra on 28 November 1914. He was with the 1st A.C.C.S. at Anzac from September 1915. In France, he served until October 1918, with temporary attachments to the the 10th and 15th C.C.S. He was of Scottish origin and listed his trade as 'sailor' in his attestation papers. Went to the Sanja Festival this weekend. More mikoshis but very crowded. I came out the station with my 50 and was like, hmmm I don`t know if the tele will get any love today. But it did : ) There were lots of photogs. Lots of brands. Lots of zooms too..no one uses primes at crowded festivals? I was hoping to see some yakuza showing off tats but no luck.
Anyways I love the hot and sweaty men. Grrrrr.
