As I was marching to where I wanted to be at Sunset I turned around to see this scene, took the picture and then forgot about it. In fact it was one of my favourites of the day. 5 images HDR merged in effex pro.

Beaver County, Utah. The workers really give one a feeling for the actual size of these insulators, especially when viewed large.

Taken after the two locos arrived back at Leicester Depot after working the GBRf Class 56 Farewell railtour and associated ECS moves. All photographs taken with all due diligance paid to personal safety. Many thanks to UKRL for allowing me on site to grab a few pictures.

A captivating urban scene where the city meets the sky through a modern glass roof. The grid lines of the architecture contrast beautifully with the soft clouds above, creating a balance between structure and nature.

Looking at I pics I got of 56049, which I don't have many but did come across this pic of it at Stud Farm quarry. Seen loading its train before it would later work to Peterborough West yard. Also I think it was probably the only half decent pic I got of a Grid in Dutch livery. 17/1/04 (Print Scan)
