I spent a short time at Butterley Reservoir in Derbyshire owned by Ripley and District Angling Club. The anglers there were all very polite and a few of them gave me permission to take a few shots of their fishing tackle. Butterley Reservoir is perfect for Bream, Perch, Roach, Tench and Carp. The reservoir is behind Midland Railway, Butterley, near Ripley.

Toomey gazes up after spotting a sparrow that landed on the branch above.
Unlike in this old picture, Toomey's in very poor shape today, emaciated and bony due to his advanced collapsed lung condition. We don't know if he will make it to the end of the year, but miracles can happen. 🐱🙏

The ravens at the zoo are often visited by wild ravens who sit on the top of their enclosure. They communicate with each other and often pass food back and forth.
The resident ravens are not afraid of me, but their wild cousins are. Sometimes, it seems that it wouldn't occur to the ones inside the habitat that the others will not come when I'm around.
