So I decided to use those green dots on myself as I tried to float.
I'm actually really pleased with how these came out.
I've wanted to use water for a long time.

What we do doesn't define who we are.
What defines us is how well we rise after falling.

This fella was being harassed by a Pileated and took refuge in the tree top. A distant shot and a big crop. I know it has a twig in front of its bill, but I don't change things as I've seen them.....besides I would do a lousy job cloning the twig out :)

This female Green Honeycreeper is from our October trip to Costa Rica. This one was coming down from the canopy to eat fruit and though it did occasionally come in close it never stopped moving for more than a couple of seconds making photography challenging. Luckily for us the fruit held the bird’s attention long enough for us all to get photos.
