The splashes of light and color, shadows, & clear air were perfect for a short steep hike down to a waterfall.
This was taken on the Stevens Creek Trail in the Forest Zone on Mount Rainier.

The Green Frog is a common North American amphibian. Close your eyes, picture a typical frog, and you now know what this species looks like! They live throughout the eastern United States.
This species comes in a variety of different colors. While most individuals have green skin, some have predominantly brown or olive colored skin. A rare handful even have blue skin!
Despite their name green iguanas can come in different colours, this can depends in which country they live in. Green iguanas possess a row of spines along their back and along their tails, which helps to protect them from predators. Their whip-like tails can be used to deliver painful strikes and like other lizards when grabbed by the tail, the iguana can allow it to break so it can escape and eventually regenerate a new one. In addition iguanas have a well developed dewlap which helps regulate their body temperature. This dewlap is used in courtship and territorial displays.
One could argue that these little green blobs are some form of corporeal fairy spirit instead of being just water drops.
Alternately, one could argue that this is what you see in your mind when you go buckwild with a bottle of absinthe (aka, "The Green Fairy").
Or, one might simply suggest that these are waterdrops and nothing more.
But that person, I'd chide for having no imagination. Then I'd push him into a mudd puddle and laugh as he had to scoop mud out of his mouth and off his powder blue Polo shirt.

Watching these Green Woodpeckers was fantastic, having two young certainly keeps them busy, every hour on the hour food was delivered.
I dream of having either of these dolls for my Poison Ivy doll...

Along the Sangamon River in Riverside Park. The same river Abraham Lincoln guided a flat-bottom boat towards New Salem, Illinois.
The old trees reach out over the river, as if slowly ready to give up, like it's fallen brethren in the muddy river bank below it.
There's all the tall trees along the riverbank. All of them sprouting green.
Spring brings new growth. The cycle of life begins anew.

Sharoe Green Hospital opened in 1869 and was originally owned and managed by Preston Borough Council.
As the years progressed, the hospital had staff and facilities covering various specialties, including infectious diseases, mental health and maternity services. It was also a workhouse hospital until 1929.
An extension was built in 1968 and by 1973 there were new gynaecology, plastic surgery, coronary care and orthopaedics wards, a suite of operating theatres, a sterile supplies department, pharmacy, nurse training school and more staff residential accommodation.
On 1 April 1974 the ownership of the hospital was transferred from the Preston and Chorley Hospital Management Committee (which had run Sharoe Green Hospital since 1948) to the Lancashire Area Health Authority.
