I was trying to get some images of red winged blackbirds in flight. I wasn't aware there was a green heron lurking in the reeds and cattails until he hopped up on this branch and posed for a few. I asked him to go get a fish or frog and come back but he just ignored me.

The main snorkelling area at Green Island, Australia around 50 minute trip via boat, this was taken in the morning not long before low tide.

I think these green lids look way better on the black cart bodies instead of the greenstone.

Seen on an evening of spotlighting a few years back, the green ringtail possum, Pseudochirops archeri, has a very distinctive eyeshine. Seen in the Wet Tropics, Atherton Tablelands, Australia and listed as near threatened by ICUN .
