Green jays are colorful birds sporting a lime green upper body, blue and black head and yellow underparts. The tail feathers sometimes look turquoise. They are noisy, making a variety of calls including a very good imitation of a red-tailed or red-shouldered hawk. They come to my feeders but prefer to do so only when I'm not out there. Occasionally, however I will have a few cooperative subjects like this. These two posed side by side.

Bronchocela cristatella. This species is a bright green lizard, sometimes possessing a blue tint on the head. It is able to change colour, turning darker brown when threatened. There is a dark ring around each eye, and a dark spot at the back of the head. The males have a crest on the neck. It has a very long and thin tail (75% of total length). The body length is of 13 cm (5.1 in), and the total length (body + tail) is of 57 cm (22 in).

I spotted this green building months ago riding by in a train. I wanted to come back to take photos and of course when I have a chance the weather is bad.
The green building in the water was built in the late 1800's and was a bath house for what I understand a wealthy family.
It is leaning and looking a bit rough now a days, but it is amazing that it has lasted all these years considering the fact that the water freezes every winter.

Without HDR this would have been totally boring with an even gray sky.
Green jays seem to be expanding their range through Texas. Some years (as few as 10) back they were generally seen in the extreme southern part of the state and south into Mexico. Now we have a thriving and growing colony that has made our riverside property in the northern extremity of Uvalde County their home - they have been there consistently for about 8 years. Colorful, raucous and garishly beautiful.

Olá! Aqui está mais um Orly, o Green Apple. Eu adorei essa cor e também é super fácil de passar e fica ótimo com 2x como o Lemonade. Outro esmalte que eu recomendo! haha
Beijos!

Wrote:I. Hudnik "Zelene livade s teboj"
I had like all the spring,
green meadows with you,
The most beautiful are the blossom,
green meadows with you.
Was passed in May, where they are now,
green meadows with you?
Live on, in this poem,
green meadows with you.

The Green Flash: Fearless Fifty!
I bought this up on impulse from Trader Joe's while in there to pick up a 4-pack of Dogfish 90-Minute. I like saisons, and I think Trader Joe's has a decent line of food-related store-brand goods, so why not? Plus, it was only $6 for a big bottle. I've spent MORE on beer that I've had to dump out
For store-brand, this was a very good ale! It was smooth and refreshing, with only hints of the orange and pepper flavors that they advertise on the label.
I'm curious what others think, and if anyone has tried their other store-brand brews. I welcome your feedback!!
