One of our shelter cats, hoping for his forever home. He is a real sweetheart, usually found on the top of the cat tree, cautiously optimistic his new owner will walk through the door.
Our Mutt & Jeff of the cat world have a window seat for watching what's on the other side of the fence.

Once again I was on the media team for the NOPI Nationals in Commerce, GA. I took over 3,000 photos, and I'm still editing. But at least Owen is helping me.

I saw this sweet big kitten at the annual cat show last November. Of all cats, I think these are the absolutely most gorgeous, and they seem to be very sweet natured too.
... you never have to work another day in your life!

Willie and his sister Tink were adopted in 2001. They were returned to us in early September. I checked their files and I didn't see a reason. Oh, I love them! Willie is 12 years old, Tink is 13. They are so sweet and they get along nicely with the other cats and they just love one another very much. Hopefully, if they don't have any medical problems, they can be adopted together!
Willie has one eye and one front fang. LOVE!

Linus is my love bug. He likes to snuggle up on my shoulder and lick my neck. He's also the biggest troublemaker in the house, but I love him anyway.
Yesterday morning, I found Lucy lying on my bathrobe, and thought the pink reflections on her gray fur were beautiful.

When our kitten, Linen, first came home, Silver tended to ignore him.
Eventually they bonded. They often sleep together now and are the first two cats to show up for any meal.
They are both purebred Maine Coons. They share the house with our rescuse cats including George, Rhoda and Rufus, who have made recent flickr appearances.

Week 28 of 52 in 2015. The theme is HIGH KEY. It took several attempts, but Owen finally posed for a high key photo. My boy is now 14 years old.

Fyero wasn't feeling too well today; she spent most of day cuddling with me and the rest of the day sleeping. It looks like her eye is bothering her again, so I gave her some of her medicine and hopefully she's back to normal tomorrow.
Sun in the windows and a cat on every corner of the bed. It just doesn't get much better than this...
Rowena -- who appears a bit over-caffienated -- is one of the many lovely kitties available for adoption at a local rescue. Adopt, don't shop. And don't give your cats coffee...
