Tower 185 (the left one) would be the perfect place for the Bat-Signal, wouldn't you agree?
As my D750 was out of action due to me getting a crapload of dust on the sensor, I took good old D5100 with the 18-105mm kit on my journey to Frankfurt. The lens not being wide enough, I made this panoramic shot of 5 images.
Hacía tiempo que no hacía una foto de mi serie de BN, Valletta no es uno de los mejores sitios para hacerla; pero vi estos dos edificios y no me pude resistir.
Para ver algo más de mi trabajo:
They finally finished renovating the skyscraper (it's the same as here) and installed some lights on top which even change colors. I liked the purple most, so here it is - yesterday was really foggy and i was reminded of Gotham City ;)
No DRI or HDR, no cropping
#5 on explore 9/12/2008 and appeared on front page. Thank you!
took a BRIC street photography class with an instructor who is a fellow Flickr Member: Antonio Rosario--and this is one of the photos I took
downtown Brooklyn
Current two Gotham figures: Cobblepot and Nygma (aka penguin and riddler).
Penguin is a couple of years old, but I still wanted to get (small) group shot.
More Gotham figures to come and keep an eye out for the printed range coming soon...
Una buena forma de pasar la mañana del sábado puede ser ésta, el revelado de una vista poco común del Guggenheim.
Espero que os guste.
Considerably more well-to-do than the previous apartment block, only Gotham's finest criminals live here. Still a breeding ground of crooks but with more marble and less open sewage :-)
The iPhone photos will soon end (or at least take a break)--I dropped off a roll of film this afternoon, so I will soon have those prints to share. Until then, here's a picture of the scene before me everyday on my way to work, as the N train approaches the Queensboro Bridge before heading underground and into Manhattan. It's a bit busy, as far as composition is concerned, but hey, so is New York City.
Hope you have a great week ahead. :)

Lower Manhattan just after dusk as seen from old Pier 1 at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Hard not to be happy to see the new World Trade Center takes its place in the skyline.
Well, perhaps the most surprising building I peeped by accident in London after the Neasden Hindu Temple, which caught me totally by surprise while travelling on a bus.
I can't say how much I love this building, and how difficult it's been for me to get a satisfying shot of it, or some of its details.
Maybe one day I will try again, hoping to catch that elusive point of view or compositive detail good enough to render the marvel this building provokes in me.
When the darkness falls upon the city,
and the evil-doers of crime have all been put to bed..........
The cat and the bat come out to play !!
