2013 long exposure San Francisco Photowalk where I depended on the kindness of new friends to take me far from public transportation to this place--Drake Beach in Point Reyes. So much fun hanging with young talented, passionate, photogs. Thanks especially Dennis and Josh for patience with endless chatter. But quiet time here was sublime. Thanks Nathan Wirth (nice guy btw) for organizing.
Disney's Boardwalk Resort featuring a nice post-rain sunset. This was the first picture I have ever posted to Google+ before putting it up on Flickr. I think in the future I will just upload to both at the same time.

At first I was viewing Google+ as just another place to put a link and try and bring a few views to my photostream- but lately I have been thinking of it as it's own entity and enjoying the feedback and commentary I've been getting over there. Google just announced a way for a limited number of people to broadcast their hangouts.

Google+ users already use Hangouts to create intimate onscreen experiences—with family members, prayer groups, even people with certain medical conditions. But sometimes you want to speak to a large audience, or alternatively, view as a spectator. In these cases a public broadcast is what’s needed, so today we’re introducing Hangouts On Air.
The setup is simple enough: just start a normal hangout, and you’ll have the option to broadcast and record your session. Once you’re “On Air,” up to nine others can join your hangout (as usual), and anyone can watch your live broadcast.
We’re starting with a limited number of broadcasters, but any member of the Google+ community can tune in. In fact: we’ll be hosting our very first On Air hangout with will.i.am on Wednesday night, September 21. For more information visit will.i.am’s or my profile on Google+."

The sky's looked very promising this evening but they cleared about an hour too soon. This image was about the last of the good stuff. I'm guessing anywhere south of Half Moon Bay was probably pretty good. This is a blend of several exposures to balance the scene a bit.

As it's spring and all the flowers are starting to bloom here is one shot of one of the many dandelions blooming in our garden. A few are already fading, so here's a comparison!
Once again, like every year at that time I am in South Burgenland visiting my relatives, because there will be an event next weekend: ( www.ein-stueck-vom-paradies.at/ ) where I need to help! I've taken a few days leave from work an university so I could spend some time doing what I want. Also got me a new MTB last week which is a top model, a GT Sensor Expert 2014 ( www.gtbicycles.com/eur_en/2014/bikes/mountain/trail-full-... ) and I got it from Amin's Radlwerkstatt ( www.arminsradlwerkstatt.at ) for 50% of last year's original price as this was a demo model. I used this Monday and got up early in the morning at half past 4. After a 2 hrs drive for ~140km I arrived at ~ 7 a.m. in the morning in Mörbisch am See where I started the tour ( www.fahr-radwege.com/NeusiedlerseeRadwegB10.htm ). It was a perfect sunny day. In the afternoon I arrived in Illmitz and went back with the ship to Mörbisch.
Of course I took my cam with me and you can find some pretty nice images in high resolution available to be downloaded from my stock photo portfolios! Hope you like it, really enjoyed the day and if you're near this area I can only recommend this tour!
