The only thing I enjoy more than falling asleep to the sound of rain, is the fun I can have with puddles the day after. I took this at Fort Baker this morning at 5:30 when the blue hues come out most in photographs. I met a little friend in the process that had come out for some much needed hydration. Poor animals must be suffering from this California drought.

Another shot taken while in Vancouver over the holidays.
I was really drawn to this solitary rock just off of the seawall, with a few birds huddled down, with feathers fluffed up against the cold. It was raining, and I couldn't stop getting rain droplets on my filters (despite my umbrella's best attempts), so I had to shoot pretty wide open to avoid catching all of those pesky droplets. I feel that it worked though :)
